Home & Hangin’
There’s a unique freedom to being home. I open the front door, walk out onto concrete, instead of trying to walk on water, and go, go, go. I climb the trail and go to the post office, market, bank, bookstore, library, San Juan Bakery, Isle be Jammin’, Printonyx, Frank’s. Sometimes I go nowhere, I just walk and think and observe all the differences between the USA to the West Indies. Weather is the biggest difference.
Today I am reminiscing with photos from 2011 back to 1958. Below the black and white is me on the back left (toehead), Shellie in front of me—the baby—a girl I don’t remember in the middle, and Sandy, aka “Ug” my oldest friend (Shellie’s sister). As you can see we were stylin’.
It’s fun to hangout in the office, watch the drizzling rain and look at pretty pictures. Check ‘em out.
