SANDY ISLAND ANEW

We almost hated to disrupt s/v Indigo’s tranquility by grabbing a mooring buoy too, as they were the only boat in the now pay-for anchorage.

Sandy Island is part of Carriacou’s (a Grenadian Grenadine) Nature Preserve. As you can see it’s a long skinny strip of white sand that has fantastic snorkeling. These type of anchorages are getting harder to find.
