WARNING: I’m going nuts not being able to post Moody Blues Cruise right! I don’t know what’s wrong!!!!

WE HAD NEVER gone up to Gouyave for their Fish Fridays.

We left from the Tiki Bar and headed up the west side of Grenada.

There were a variety of scenes.

Being a Friday, people were hanging out.

Cute.

Bush reader . . .
I did mention that the buses and tour bands go muy fast. But it’s also getting dark out.

I don’t know what this picture is of, but I really like it.

THIS IS COPIED off the computer from windGURU-Grenada. As you can see wind speed is listed in nautical knots, which is 1.15 statute mile per hour. So 21 kts. is 24.15 MPH. A 23 kt gust is 26.45 MPH. A 25 kt gust is 28.75 MPH: that’s really getting up there. Of course not “impossible” just uncomfortable.
The arrows show the wind direction is from the NE.
Above also shows wave heights in meters. 3 meters is 39.37 inches. So 3 meters is 118 inches, so that’s 9 feet 10 inches, almost 10 foot waves. But waves vary so to say the waves are 9–12 feet is probably fair. That can be an E ticket ride/sail at Disneyland.
The arrows show the wave direction is also from the NE.
Then we have the temperature in Celsius. All I can remember is 28 C is 82 F. So 23 & 24 C is pretty nice.

There is a warning when a squall is approaching, aside from the charcoal clouds covering the sun. It’s the wind, it pipes up in strong gusts, waking one out of one’s reverie.

Batten down the hatches.
(P.S. I am having A LOT of internet trouble adding new postings to the blog and emailing. Sorry.)

Laundry, one way or another it has to get done. I know Gene and I are so lucky to have this combo washer/dryer on Moody Blues. This space on Moody Blues used to be the Hollywood makeup table in the captain’s quarters. It had a huge mirror with lights on each side of it, and it’s own seat. I can’t imagine why I’d give that up for a really practical washer!

Gene’s stainless steel polishing tools.

Yep, stainless steel does need some polishing.

Gene’s new tool: an impeller puller. He was delighted to use it to pull the impeller out of the raw water pump for the water maker. He can also use it to replace the raw water pump impeller on the Yanmar diesel engine and the impeller pumps on the mascerator pumps. WOW!

I made yogurt. It isn’t turning out so good. I think it’s the starter . . .

Local scenery. This mon is checking his lobster pots.

Isn’t that lobster basket trap something. It’s a beautiful basket.
