It wasn’t a long hike on Union Island up Fort Hill to the fort, but it’s steep.

The path is dry and dusty, except for this one little part that’s a reprieve from the intense sun.

Unusual pod on this tree. (Wish I could find my tree book to tell you and us what it is.

Fort Murray is above Clifton, the main port of Union Island.

There are still a couple of cannons left at the fort for show.

Looking southeast down on the town of Clifton.

This is the anchorage behind Newlands Reef. Moody Blues is to the far left under the boat sailing out.

This shot shows the airport, the anchorage, Newlands Reef, Palm Island (left) & Carriacou, then northern most port of entry into the Grenadian Grenadine islands.

This is Greg, s/v Indigo and Gene, s/v Moody Blues (as if you didn’t know), looking to the north.

To the northeast is the Tobago Cays, the magnificent sea park.

Further to the north is the lovely island Mayreau with the island Canouan behind it.

This sweet dog was our tour guide.

This mama goat wasn’t too happy with our tour guide dog.

Sizing each other up.

Ah, he likes her. You just never know.

After he kissed her kid the mama goat smiled.

We continued down the trail.

And stopped into Anchorage Yacht Club to get an ice cold beer! Cheers everyone.
