MI CASA ES SU CASA?

z-blog182-wagon.jpg

If you’ve been following this blog you’ll know that we referred to our goddaughter Jessia Oldwyn’s blog:  (www.jessicaoldwyn.blogspot.com/).

Jessica and her parents live in Wenatchee, WA, which is a few hour drive to Seattle. Prior to Jesse going into the hospital her friend Laura gave the Oldwyn’s the gift of her house in Seattle near the hospital to live in for as long as they want and needed. Laura must really be a wonderful human being to be so loving and generous. Thank you Laura from us too.

We’ve never been to Laura’s house so we’re wondering what Laura’s house looks like. Does it have any resemblance to any homes in Bequia, West Indies? We hear it’s “lovely and perfect,” not a “Bug House Culture Pot”!

z-blog182-trailer.jpg

I doubt Laura’s would be funky like this. (But what a view of Admiralty Bay!)

z-blog182-stairs4in.jpg                 z-blog182-parrot4in.jpg

Maybe Laura’s has many steps.                                      Maybe Laura has a Bequian parrot.

Z-Blog182-BoardUp

Maybe Laura has a boarded up crawl space.

Z-Blog182-Church

Maybe Laura’s is like a lovely open-doored church.

Z-Blog182-PurWaterLilly

I wonder if Laura’s has a purple water lily in a lilypad pond?

Z-Blog182-Window1

Perhaps Laura’s house has stone siding with boarded up basement windows.

Z-Blog182-SteepRd

Laura’s could be down a steep hill.

Z-Blog182-House3

And Laura’s could be painted white, pink and turquoise.

Z-Blog182-BitchinHse2

Ah, maybe Laura’s is on a gorgeous Caribbean Sea like bay.

Z-Blog182-Fence1

Does Laura’s have a bamboo fence?

Z-Blog182-ChickenWindow

Hey, I wonder if Laura’s CC&Rs allow her to have a rooster that crows at the break of dawn.

Z-Blog182-HiddenHse4in           Z-Blog182-LeafHse4in

Could Laura’s be low-bank beach front?                           Or hidden behind palm trees?

Z-Blog182-BitchinHse1

I’ll bet Laura’s is very modern.

Z-Blog182-Mango6in

How can Jessica not Go-Mango living at Laura’s?

BEQUIA SEATURTLE SANTUARY

Z-Blog181-WelcomeSign8in

As Jessica continues to heal, we madeway to Bequia (SVG-St.Vincent & the Grenadines). We anchored Moody Blues and Indigo and took a hike. So come on and join us at the the Seaturtle Sanctuary.

Z-Blog181-Ah9in

This is a green turtle. As you can see they are sweet. They eat sea grass and jellyfish. (This one’s for you Bon~Bon.)

Z-Blog181-CoolTurtle9in

This is a Hawksbill turtle.  By being kept in the santuary until 5 years of age, 25 more turtles (out of 100) survive.

Z-Blog181-GrnHawk

The Hawksbill Turtle is to the left and the Green Turtle is to the right note their different faces.

Z-Blog181-biter

This is a mean little Hawksbill Turtle attacking another baby Hawksbill Turtle. They eat meat!

Z-Blog181-Inside

The facility is large with a lot of pools. That’s Kathy, Greg,  (Indigo) & Gene talking with Brother King the creator.

Gorgeous isn’t she?

Z-Blog181-OldHegSign9.5

Information . . . Founded in 1995. Crabs, fish, and birds all eat the tiny little turtles before they can get big and defend. Turtles can live to be 200 years old if they can just make it to 5 years old and 40–60 pounds.

ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES

BeExpressWeb9in

Bequia is part of ST. VINCENT and The Grenadnines. We didn’t want to stop at St. Vincent because of thief issues along its leeward coast, so we continued on to Bequia to check into customs and immigration.
